Instruction to authors Ofogh-e-danesh is an academic research Journal, and the goals are to publish the original articles in areas of Allied Health Medicine, Health care managements and information sciences as well as review articles and short communications. 1. A written statement should accompany the submitted manuscript that the article has not and will not be published or submitted in other Journals. This statement should have the signature of all authors. 2. The manuscript should be typewritten in Farsi with distance of 1 centimeter between lines and not exceeded of 10 pages. The abstract in English is necessary (Exact translation of Farsi abstract). 3. The original article should contain the followings: • Page 1 (Title page): The Title page should be included as follow: Title, name and family name of the authors, academic position (in English and Farsi), work place, date and place of research, complete postal address, phone number, and E-mail of corresponding author. • Page 2 (Abstract): The Abstract (between 200 to 250 words in both Farsi and English). The abstract should contain the Title, Background and Aim, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion , and Key words. • Page 3 & next (Article in full): The following pages should contain: Introduction and Aim, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References. • The Tables and Figures should be in black and white with good quality and each should be presented in separate pages with number mentioned in the text and article. • The picture should be clear, original and should be scanned in the best format and size. 5. The review article is accepted from the author, which is expert in the field, and has a very good knowledge and experience in the subject. The review article should contain the followings: • The abstract should be similar to the abstract of research articles. (English abstract similar to Farsi abstract) • The Text should have Introduction, Materials and Methods, Discussion, Conclusion and References. 6. The way of writing article in this Journal is based on the general rules. The original articles according to regulations of international editors of medical Journals committees approved in Vancouver of Canada. 7. The numbering order of references should be in the order mentioned in introduction, according to Vancouver standard, as follows: • Book Up to six authors: Name and family name, book title, publication number, place of publication, publisher. Date of publication, Pages. The authors will be separated with «,» • Book More than six authors: After the name of sixth author (,) ''et al'' should come. Order for the rest of information come as above : • Editor as author After name and family name put (,) and then editor. The rest of information come as above. • Journals Up to six authors: (,) Name and family name. The corresponding author should submitted the manuscript to the Journal office online to http//:www.ofoghedanesh.ir ,the manuscript should be typewritten with word 2003 . 9. Since research is a teamwork, the corresponding author should consider the share of contribution of each author and the order of the author name in the manuscript is the responsibility of corresponding author . 10. The ethical principles such as hidden patients name , their secret, etc. should be considered according to Helsinki legislation. 11. If the article-contained color pictures, needed to print with article, the author should agree to pay the cost of color pictures . 12. The authors should mention all the things, which might be offensive to other people interest . 13. The authors should notice that after sending their articles to this Journal. The management of this Journal have the authority to edit, publish or not publish the article. The received article will retain . 14. After receiving the article, it will be send to reviewers. After the article is corrected according to reviewers instructions by the corresponding author, it will be discussed in editorial board and if approved , then it will stand for the publication turn. The responsibility of article contents is on corresponding author . 15. The article should be written in plain Farsi, and the foreign words that have the Farsi equivalent should avoid . 16.
